These terms govern your use of this website and the services of Benign Corporate Consultancy Services ("we", "us"), located at Rajarhat Valley, Ground Floor, Shop No. 101, 91 SRCM Road, Kolkata – 700135. By using the website or engaging us, you agree to them.

1. Nature of services

We provide registration, documentation, taxation, licensing, compliance and loan-file assistance. We are a consultancy and facilitation service. Unless stated in writing, we are not a law firm, and nothing on this website is legal advice. Where a matter needs a licensed advocate, chartered accountant or other professional, we will say so.

2. Scope of work

The scope, documents required, fees and expected timeline for each assignment are confirmed with you by message or in writing before work begins. Work outside that scope is a separate assignment and may carry additional fees.

3. Fees and payment

• Our service fee is quoted separately from government charges such as stamp duty, registration fees, filing fees, penalties and statutory dues, which are paid at actuals.
• Fees are payable as agreed in the quote, in advance or in stages.
• Where a service is cancelled after work has started, fees for the work already done are not refundable. Unused government fees are refunded only if the authority returns them.

4. Client responsibilities

• You must provide complete, accurate and genuine documents and information.
• You are responsible for the truth of every statement and signature in any filing made on your behalf.
• You must reply to our requests promptly. Delays on your side may delay the outcome.
• We cannot act on documents that appear forged, altered or unlawful, and may stop work without refund of fees for completed work.

5. Timelines

Timelines are estimates. Approvals, registrations and licences depend on government departments and authorities, whose processing times, portal availability and decisions are outside our control.

6. No guarantee of outcome

We prepare and submit applications with care, but we do not guarantee approval of any licence, registration, loan, subsidy, refund or grant. Decisions rest with the relevant authority or lender.

7. Confidentiality

We treat your documents and information as confidential and use them only to perform your assignment, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the service fee paid to us for the assignment concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by incorrect information, delay by authorities, changes in law or events beyond our control.

9. Website use

The website is provided for general information. Content, names, logos and design belong to Benign Corporate Consultancy Services and may not be copied or reused without permission. You must not misuse the website or attempt to disrupt it. Information may be updated without notice and may not reflect the latest rules.

10. Third-party links and platforms

Messages sent through WhatsApp, phone or email are handled by those providers under their own terms. We are not responsible for government portals or other third-party sites.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We encourage you to raise any concern with us first so that we can resolve it. Courts at Kolkata, West Bengal have jurisdiction over any dispute.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
